From his music emerge intimate and immersive soundscapes, with a strong focus on timbral and sonic research. Active between contemporary music and multimedia arts, he has collaborated with international artists and created performances ranging from concerts to installations, theater and cinema. His research makes him an original voice in today’s musical landscape, able to intertwine innovation and classical roots.

Edoardo Petracci (b. 1992) graduated in 2016 from the Conservatory of Fermo with a major on classical double bass, later specializing in composition at the Conservatory of Perugia (2019). He subsequently completed his studies at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, focusing on film scoring.

His debut solo album By This Window blends acoustic instruments, analog machines and electronic textures, shaping soundscapes where tradition meets the modern.

He composed music for stage productions in Italy and abroad. He worked as composer for contemporary theater pieces such as Irene K. by Jasper Halle, Amleto, Un Principe Mille Volti at Teatro India (Rome) as well as international productions including The Game by Gianluca Iuimiento, Exodus by Øystein Stene at SARTR in Sarajevo, all shows directed by Gianluca Iumiento.
He has also written original scores for films, including Animalia by Marius Rolfsvåg (International Premiere at Sitges Film Festival 2025, Spain) and winner of the Méliès d’Argent for the Best European Short at Trieste Science+Fiction Festival.

Rooted in classical training yet open to experimentation, Edoardo Petracci’s poetic explores silence, resonance and the emotional depth of sound across an own musical language.
